Random Goodies ;)

I have been surrounded by so many wonderful, random goodies lately it just warms my heart! Let me share...


MY HUSBAND IS THE BEST! A couple of weeks ago we found some fabulous dining room furniture at World Market. We were able to purchase everything but the buffet and hutch. The store in Mboro did not have any in stock and the line was going to be discontinued. On Monday Web called a couple of stores and he found the LAST buffet and hutch at a World Market in Memphis. Ladies, my husband left school at 3:10 yesterday, drove to Memphis, purchased said buffet and hutch, drove back home, dropped it off at Meag's house (SHE IS BEING SO INCREDIBLY WONDERFUL IN LETTING US STORE IT THERE), and then got home at 11:30 pm. Tell me he does not deserve brownie points for that one ;)! I would show everyone pics of my furniture, but I want to wait until we are moved in and semi-settled!


I found this adorable bedding at Pottery Barn and it was on sale...PTL! Web fell in love with it too and we both loved the price. We have decided to put Vance in his BIG BOY BED when we move to the farm, and this will go on his new bed ;)! The best part...I ordered it on Monday and it came in the mail TODAY!


This picture has a point...I promise! I had a meeting yesterday with a lady from MTSU. After a little small talk we discover she knows my husband, she knows a lot of his friends from UT Martin, and her mom was my kindergarten teacher ;). While we are having our meeting her mom calls and shockingly she remembers me. She then proceeds to tell her "Megan Hunter" story. Apparently we were having a party one day and we were going to have a pinata. I walked in with a scowl on my face (usually I was sweet but it must of been a rough morning), headed over to Ms. P's desk, through my candy down, and said, "Here is your stuff for your Pina Colada!" WOW! I only share this because I love how kids say the darndest things and that teachers remember. It was so nice to hear Ms. P's voice again too!


In just three short days Meag, La, and I will finally get to meet Leigh Ann and Derek...SO EXCITED! Little Evan is not feeling well, so please say a prayer that all Hortons are feeling better come Friday! We do have plans to go to Mimi's Cafe...a blogging reunion MUST!

These are just a few of the many blessings in my life right now! The Fall is a crazy time, but I am not complaining!!!!
