Yesterday, September 25th, was my wonderful mother's 52nd Birthday ;)! Anyone who knows my mom, knows that she is her OWN person. She was a teenager in the 70's and a true flower child ;)! One thing that I love about her is that she has never really lost her free spirit way of living. In all of my years, I have only seen her stressed a handful of times, because her philosophy is that worrying is a waste of time and energy. Why can't I be more like that?
It has often been said that those who are born in September are typically more balanced than those born in any other month. I believe it! My mom can be determined and focused when she needs to be, but she knows how to enjoy life. You can imagine that she is THE COOLEST NANA JO!!!!
Last week my dad and my mom went to The Eagles' Concert to celebrate their 30th Anniversary and mom's birthday. They had the best time and stayed out past 12:30...WOW! Last night my parents, grandparents, brothers, and our little familia headed over to B' McNeel's for a birthday dinner. The food was good, but Vance was more interested in the fish paintings on the wall. It was so funny ;)!

After dinner we all headed back to our apartment for presents, cake, and ice cream. I have to admit I loved having everyone over and I can't wait until we can host things out on the farm ;)!

I hope your mom had a great birthday! Brad's parents went to the Eagle concert in LR last week, and also stayed out that late! I was shocked!!! HA!

Sounds like I could learn a lot from your mom. I know she has to be wonderful because YOU are wonderful. I'm glad you had a great time celebrating. You'll be hosting at the farm before you can turn around. I wish we would have had time while we were in TN to go see your house.
