One of my favorite things about fall is Halloween! I do not like all the scarey things, but I do love seeing little ones dressed up saying "Trick or Treat" or something like that. I also loved taking the time to find or create the perfect costume ;). From the time I was 2 to the time I was 12, I lived in a great neighborhood and had great friends to play with. It was also a plus when it came time to load up on Halloween Goodies ;).
I am hoping to instill my love for Halloween...costumes, candy, cute projects, etc. into Vance. Last year Vance was a pumpkin for Halloween ;).

This year I thought since we are building on a farm, it was only appropriate for him to be this...
I love that the costume shows NO SHOES! Don't worry, I promise Vance will be wearing shoes ;)!
I also have to admit my favorite costume was the year I was a Ho Bo ;)! What about you?

Halloween is just as fun and innocent as you make it! I'm like you...I grew up loving it and having tons of friends to trick or treat with. Nothing evil or scary!
I can't wait to see Vance all dressed up!!
Vance is so cute in his pumpkin costume! I just love the scarecrow costume too! I just love Halloween and all of the cute decorations that are coming out! I agree, nothing Evil or Scary. It's all about costumes, decorations, candy, and picture taking!!

How fun! You know I am not a big fan of Halloween (as the scary stuff and all that) but I am all about cute kiddos in costumes and trick or treating!
One year when I was little I went as a "teenager" - it was cute if I do say so myself! A little older I went at an 1980s prom queen... that was a fun one too! :-)
I've got to figure out what all 4 of my kids are going to be!!!
How incredibly adorable!!! I love the little pumpkin. He looks perfect in that costume!! The scarecrow looks cute as well. I can't wait to see how Vance looks.
I rented a Princess Leia costume just a few years ago and that was pretty awesome!! Bryan was Darf Vater (I bet I'm spelling these names wrong). It was kind of strange he was my father!!! I'm not a Star Wars follower but we thought the costumes were neat!
Just adorable! I love Vance as a pumpkin and the new costume is so precious. We rarely did store bought costumes, but made up our own. I think that was fun, and it encouraged us to use our creativity.
