Warning: This post is going to be a little lengthy and will include LOTS of pics!
Friday night Web, Vance, my parents, and one of my brothers went to Chuckie Cheese ;)! Vance was a little young for the games, but they did have a small section for toddlers. He had fun eating the pizza, playing with Papa, and watching Chuckie Cheese from afar. The picture is of my dad (Papa) and Vance playing on the little jungle gym.
As soon as my head hit the pillow Friday night I started getting butterflies about Saturday. Why? Well, Saturday was the BIG day!!! Meag, La, and I met early thirty to go to the Autism Speaks: Walk Now For Autism to help with registration. We were so excited because our team raised almost $1200.00 and because this was the day we were finally going to meet Leigh Ann and Derek Horton. Oh ladies, you should have seen us! We brushed our hair, checked our make-up, put on lip gloss, and waited anxiously for their arrival. Leigh Ann was going to text when she got close but decided to surprise us. SHE DID! We immediately jumped up from the table, left registration, and ran right over to her. It was so fabulous to finally be able to see Leigh Ann, hug her, and get to know her. Thank you LORD for letting this friendship form and this meeting happen!

Web and Vance also came to walk! Is he not the cutest little boy ever! I was so proud of him for walking like such a big boy.
The walk was GREAT! We got to spend qt with LAH and Der and the walk itself raised over $160,000.00!!!!
The fun did not stop there...
Saturday night we headed over to La's house to enjoy pizza, candy, games, and more quality time. I am here to tell you the Leigh Ann is one thousand times more beautiful, kind, and funny in person than she is on her blog. Her and Der fit right in!!!

Saturday night was a BLAST! We knew we had just one more morning with them before they headed back to AR. We opted for breakfast and of course we followed the blogging tradition...Mimi's Cafe!!! The food was delicious but the company was the best!!!!
Getting one last hug from sweet Leigh Ann! I tell you...I was a little teary eyed all day b/c as soon as she left I missed her. I could go on and on about how amazing she is, how wonderful their family is! We just feel so blessed that you came to TN to visit us crazy galz! I hope those that live close to you cherish you as much as we do ;).
The rest of Sunday was dedicated to football and playing with Vance! We also let him paint and he had SO MUCH FUN!

I'm so glad you included that I taught you how to call the hogs! LOL! Oh, Moo, I am so thankful I got to know you through blogging and that got me connect to La and Meag. You girls are in my heart now. I just love you to pieces and know this is a start of a wonderful friendship. Thank you for such a wonderful weekend. It really was THE BEST! I was teary eyed, too, when I left, but Derek kept telling me the drive isn't bad at all and we can do it all again real soon! I just love you so much!

I am glad LAH taught you how to call those hogs! :) Now just remember to do that at a UT game! :) I am glad you guys had such a great weekend. Next time you can come to LR, it is not a bad drive at all! but then again I have done it for fourteen years!!! ha!
