My Cup Overfloweth

I have always been one of those people who enjoyed Mondays...weird, I know! When I got hooked on blogging (thanks again Lena), Mondays became even better. I LOVE coming into work after a few days off and reading all of the updated blogs! Call me silly but you all lead such amazing lives!

Friday night was a late one! I am a member of the Junior League of Murfreesboro, and we are having our New Member Social in a couple of weeks. I am the Secretary for the New Member Committee, and I am in charge of invitations. Believe it or not, my sweet husband stayed up with me and helped me stuff, lick, address, and stamp 80 invitations. He is a keeper ladies! Here is a picture of the adorable invitations we mailed out on Saturday. I encourage any lady who is in a community with a Junior League to get involved with one.



Web and I had an extremely fun-filled, busy weekend!!! I encouraged Web to play golf on Saturday as he is playing in a tournament this coming weekend. Ladies, I got some major brownie points for that!!! I got to spend a great day with Vance...my favorite thing to do. Saturday night, Web and I had a date night =)! We ate at one of my favorite restaurants, Fuji, and then it was off to the Predators Game! We left half way into the second period (missed Vance too much), but we had a great time. We sat in section 303, also known as "The Cell Block!" It was very exciting and quite an experience. I am happy to say that The Predators won 2-1 in overtime! Sunday was another day of exciting sports! Web and I met some of my co-workers and their spouses in Nashville for lunch at J. Alexander's. The food was delicous but the bill was high...grr. I TRY to keep our eating out to a limit but we splurged a little this weekend. What can you do? After lunch it was off to watch the LADY VOLS play and BEAT the LADY COMMODORES. My husband and I are HUGE Lady Vols fans, so needless to say I was on cloud nine. We sat on the highest level, but the game was still awesome. Pat Summit is such an amazing women with so many accomplishments! Here is a pic of my co-workers and I at the game. These ladies are FABULOUS!



So, at 8:30 last night, where do you think I was? If you guessed cuddled up in bed snoozing, you were right!
