It's The Moments That Matter

These last two days God has really shown me the importance of THE MOMENTS! I will be the first to admit that I am a little Type A in my personality: organized, clean, and just a little anal. My mom on the other hand is not: laid back, spontaneous, and definitely knows how to enjoy life. I have always secretly wanted to be a bit more like her, and now that I am a mother, I think I am.

Tuesday night, Web and I made a quick trip to Hobby Lobby to find the perfect Easter Basket for Vance. We settled on this adorable Dragon Basket and a dear friend is monogramming it for me...pictures to come later. As we were walking into HL, it began to snow, and the look on Vance's face was priceless. He tried to catch it, he tried to eat it, and had the biggest grin on his face. The snow was new to him and in a way it was new to us too. Here is Web and Vance enjoying the big, fluffy flakes we got Tuesday night.

It continued to snow on Wednesday, which meant that Web was out of school. YAY for a SNOW DAY! He told me that Vance would just stare at the snow falling and just "talk" to it. I could not wait to get home last night to see my little family and play with Vance. We had the wonderful BBQ/Beef Muffins that have been suggested by many bloggers! Web and I decided that we should start experimenting with Vance feeding himself from time to time. What a fun, messy, adventure it is! In the pictures below you will see Vance 1) Enjoying his applesauce...it was EVERYWHERE and 2)Splashing in the sink while getting his bath...the floor was covered with water!

These are just a few of the moments that I have stashed away in my treasure chest of a heart. I am thanking you Lord for allowing me to have these moments and promising I will take the time to have more of these!

*Side Note* Did anyone else cry when David sang Imagine on AI on Tuesday night? Also, what did everyone think of the girls last night? My favorite is still Brooke!

Til next time...ENJOY THE MOMENTS NOT THE THINGS!
