Walk Down Memory Lane

I promised you I would do two posts this morning ;)!

We had a really nice weekend!

Friday night we stayed in and enjoyed some good QT! Poor Vance has been teething quite a bit lately, so we treated him to a delicious popsicle after dinner ;)!

This is the life ;)!

Saturday Web played in a Golf Tournament while Vance & I played, played, and played some more. We had toys all over the place ;)! When Web got home we loaded up and headed to meet some friends of ours at Logan's!

My sweet friend Christen and Vance ;)! Christen & I pledged AOII together in 2002 and have been close friends ever since. She got married to her high school sweetheart last July and they live in Springhill. I love when we get to visit and catch up on life!

Christen and I ;)! She is a lot taller than me, so she bent down to my level...lol!

My sweet familia ;)!

Sunday was a day of hard, hard work! I went to my parent's house around 9:00 to begin Operation Clean Out Megan's Stuff! I had promised my mom a few months back I would dedicate a day to going through all of my stuff. It was definitely a walk down memory lane!!!! We worked until about 3:00, but we are still not done...YIKES!

While I was sifting through pictures, dance recital costumes, and wedding gifts, Web & Vance were out on the farm. Vance's Aunt Carrie & Uncle Dale watched Vance while Web and a good friend of ours worked on the house. Web & Eric cleaned around the site, cleaned out the porches, painted the lentils, and swept the entire house from where the electrician had been out. He did not get home until almost 8:00 and he was EXHAUSTED!

Web, Eric, and Vance at the house! THANK GOODNESS for our wonderful friend Eric! He was such a huge help to Web!!!! And did you notice what is in the background? That would be our BRICK! Web worked so hard yesterday to have everything cleaned and ready for the bricklayers ;)! So Exciting!

After I picked Vance up around 3:30 we headed home for good ole playing, cookie baking, tubby taking, mother and son time!

It was a fantastic weekend with family & friends ;)!

Loving that picture of Vance. He has it made! Yeah for brick! You are going to be living in that beautiful house before you know it.

Glad you got to spend some time with an old friend. Isn't that just the best to catch up and feel like you can pick up right where you left off?!

What a great weekend! I really missed you though!

I am so flippin' excited the brick is in! I think it's time for Aunt Meag to go back out to the house - how is that for a subtle hint - maybe to the house and some pool time at Margrets! ;-) Word!
