Tonight my parents, Nana Jo & Papa Hunter, are having a sleepover with Vance ;)! They asked if they could keep him one night b/c they felt like they had not seen him in forever. Keep in mind, they just saw him Sunday...I suppose that is what happens when you are a grandparent =)!
Web and I decided to take them up on the offer and we are having dinner with some dear friends of ours ;)! I will admit though that I am having one of those "mommy" days where I have missed Vance so much today. Perhaps it is the fact that I have been in the office by myself the majority of the day, perhaps it is the fact that Vance held onto me and followed my every step this morning, or perhaps it is the fact that when Web came by so I could love on him before going to my parents, he did this when he saw me...
How could you not love this precious face!!!!
Having a husband and son who love me and are genuinely happy to see me is something I will cherish forever ;)! I still get tingles when I see Web at the end of the day AND my heart overfloweth of love for our sweet, sweet boy!!!!

That's just how being a mommy is!! Every time Steve and I go out on a date so we can have some alone time, we always end up sitting there talking about the kids all night!! Go figure! So, it doesn't really change even when they grow up!

That's so sweet. I'm the same way. I always think it is a good idea to let the grandparents watch E & EG (especially when they offer), but as the time approaches I always have second thoughts. I miss them before I even leave them. And, I agree with Betsy, we end up talking about our little sweeties a lot! That pic of you two is precious. Vance is so cute. I love his little teeth. I missed the little grin with four teeth. EG has a mouthful now!
Hope you guys' night out was fabulous!! Your son is such a cutie!! We have 2 sets of grandparents very close by so we should have plenty of help when we need some! We are thankful for that.
Vance is lucky to have a mommy who loves him so much and who takes such good care of him. I hope that you and Web had a fun time!
