"Throw" is Vance's newest word! I am not sure if that is a good wood for a toddler, but it is still adorable when it comes out of his mouth!!!!
Now, onto our crazy, good weekend...
Friday I was off b/c Web & I took Vance to the doctor for his last follow-up visit concerning Albinism. I am HAPPY to report that he is all clear! Thank you to each of you who prayed for our little man!
Friday afternoon my mother-in-law watched Vance while Web & I went to an afternoon movie ~ The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian! We have not been to a movie together in a while, so it was nice to chow down on the "low-fat" popcorn and get lost in a movie. After the movie we headed to Barnes & Nobles and then to Maggie Moo's for a Peanut Butter Explosion...YUMMY!

Saturday morning we had our second week of swim lessons =). We are still working on blowing bubbles in the water, but he has splashing down perfectly!!!!

While Vance was napping after swim lessons, I ran over to Perfect Nails to use a gift certificate I got as a gift for a mani & pedi =). I don't consider myself that much of a girly, girl BUT what woman does not enjoy a little pampering? Saturday night we used Web's Father's Day gift and we went to the Nashville Sounds game. We only stayed a few innings b/c Vance was more interested in exploring the seats, but we still had a GREAT time! When Vance DID see a player hit a ball, he always said "WOW!"

Sunday we loaded up the car and headed to a beautiful State Park called Fall Creek Falls! My parents are up there camping with some good friends of our family, and they wanted to see little man. While Web, Jim, and my dad golfed (my dad actually drove the cart...he hunts, he does not play golf ;)), my mom, Ann, Vance, and I caught up, played on the playground, took a nap, went swimming, went for a walk, and then we all enjoyed a delicious dinner!

We did not get home until late, but it was worth every minute of it!

I am SO EXCITED to say that in September, Lauren, Meagan, and I will be meeting Leigh Ann & Derek Horton IN PERSON!

OH Moo! What a wonderful weekend! I had no idea you had all of that going on this weekend - it sounds like it was busy but good!!!! I have GOT to go swimming with Vance!!!!
Sounds like you three had a great weekend! Really? Low-fat popcorn at the movies? Can't wait to see more pics of Vance at swimming lessons. I know that's fun.
I used to go to Fall Creek Falls when I was little and living in Tennessee! It is such a great park!

I love that Vance is starting to use new words. Isn't it just the best?!!! I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL SEPTEMBER! :) And, praise God for the good news on Vance. I'm so glad those concerns are behind you now. Yeah!
