Ok, so I know I probably brag about my family a little more than most people, BUT I can't help it. My husband is amazing, and our son has had our hearts since the first time we heard his little heart beat. I still have it recorded on my cell phone...got to LOVE technology.
Speaking of firsts, I must take a moment to share with everyone my soon to be one year old son's NINE WORD VOCABULARY! Web and I are so proud of Vance, and we look forward to each day to see what new word he will share with us. These are the words he is saying on a fairly, regular basis...
Da Da ~ (this was his FIRST word! He will take Web's hat and say Da Da)
Ma Ma ~ (this was his second word, and he says it when he is sick or wants to cuddle)
Uh Oh ~ (he actually will say this when he drops something on the floor)
No ~ (his little eyebrows scrunch down when he says this...he KNOWS what it means)
Hi ~ (he says it so country...drawn out and loud)
Thank You ~ (he says this when you give him a cheerio or cracker...manners early, right Lena?)
Hot ~ (he will point at a stove, fire, candle, or even water and say h - o - t)
Bye Bye ~ (still working on this one, but he is getting there)
Vroom (this is more of a noise, but he only does it when he plays with trucks and what not)
I am done bragging for today, but you know there will be more to come! I LOVE THESE PROUD PARENT MOMENTS!

I'm so glad you are teaching him his manners so early! When I was a little girl, whenever I said "yes," my mother would always says "yes, what?" and then I would say "yes, ma'am." Still to this day, I say "yes,ma'am" and "yes,sir." It will mean the most in the long run - TRUST ME :)
