I SURVIVED!!!!!
Now that it is Monday and I have survived, I can tell you that Web was out of town from Wednesday to last night. I know that some people love being home alone and some would call me a "baby" but I have never liked being by myself at night. Being the paranoid person that I am, I did not want to post anything in case someone creepy read my blog. Silly I know...but...you never know!
So, where was Web? Web and seven of his buddies go on a golf trip to Pickwick, TN twice a year. They stay in a cabin, cook big meals, play cards, play golf all day everyday, and do some serious male bonding. This is their 11th Year to go Pickwick and they look forward to it more and more every year.
Vance and I had some serious quality time and I loved every minute of it. I have to admit that I am pretty tired...it is amazing how much you rely on someone to help you through the day!
Saturday morning was pretty low key but Saturday afternoon my parents & I took Vance to the Jazz Fest. He had the best time people watching, eating corn on the cob, listening to music, and dancing.

Sunday we met up with my parents, grandparents, and brother for lunch at Miller's Grocery. It is a sweet little restaurant hidden in the country and it is so good. We were celebrating my grandfather's 76th Birthday! After lunch we headed back to my parent's house to open gifts, eat cake, talk on the deck, and play in the creek.
Web made it home around 5:30 and our little family could not be happier!

You were at JazzFest???? I so missed you! I can't wait for our lunch date tomorrow!

Seriously, I've lived in TN for 4 years now and the names of the cities never cease to amaze me! Pickwick? Really?! haha Glad you survived your week! :o)
Glad you survived! I would not call you a baby...because if I did I would have to call myself one too! I am the same way! I go and spend the night with my parents or my sister if Chad is gone. I know, pretty pitiful!
Glad the three of you are back together again!
Just when I think that Vance can't get any cuter! That picture is soooo cute. I love his little outfit! I know what you mean...I don't like it when Derek is out of town either. I much prefer us all under one roof! Derek helps me so much with the kids, that when he is gone I get worn out! I'm glad Web is back! I wish we lived closer to each other. I think we could be great friends and have lots of fun together! :)
That looks like fun! Vance is SO CUTE! :) Glad you made it through the week, it is so hard when the husband is away! I never realize how much he does until he is not hear to help me! :) JazzFest sounds like a good time! Thanks for sharing!
