I know it may sound silly, but I do have a favorite commercial! It has not aired in a few years, but it's message has left a lasting impression on me...
~ A father asks his little boy what he wants to be when he grows up?
~ The little boy proudly answers that he wants to be a TEACHER!
~ The concerned father looks at his son and says , "Wouldn't you rahter be a doctor?"
~ The innocent, little boy simply answers, "But Daddy, without teachers we would not have doctors!"
Even as I write the description of this commercial, I get chills! Think about it for a moment...Where would any of us be without our education and the teachers who took the time to educate us? Being married to a teacher and having dear friends who also teach, my respect and gratitude for them is far more than I can put into words!
Which leads me to this...
I need your prayers!!!! I have been toiling with the idea of going back to school to get my teaching degree. I love children, the classroom, and feel as though God is telling me this is the time! Please pray that God will guide my heart and mind during this time!

Oh Moo!!!! What grade would you teach? I can see you with little kids!! :-) I will pray for you for sure - it can be a very rewarding and challenging career, but nothing beats having two months off for summer! ;-) Of course, you already know all of that from Webber! Keep me posted!

And, I can tell you from experience, it is a wonderful job to have when you are raising children. You basically have the same hours all year round!
I will be praying for you Megan. I know it is a hard decision. Teaching is intense and time consuming, but it is SO rewarding...just like motherhood!
