What's My Secret

I just got through reading my best friend's blog, Meagan, and she has inspired me to write a few odds and ends about myself. These may not be necessarily be secrets, but these are just a few idioscencracies that I would like to share...

1) I consider myself a well-rounded person! I am not 100% girly girl but I am not 100% a nature girl ither. I am just in the middle, a "Plain Jane" if you will, with splashes of color here and there! I enjoy camping, white water rafting, skeet shooting (it is a great stress reliever), nature walks, wading a creek, and just being outside. I enjoy pedicures, maicures, massages, getting my hair cut, and taking long showers. I love to shop but I am not into high fashion (nor is my budget...lol), I love learning about etiquette but my posture needs a lot of work, I enjoy getting dressed up for a fancy evening but love to wear t-shirt and jeans, I enjoy a beer from time to time with pizza but still not sure about wine! I studied dance (including ballet) for almost 18 years but I can "break it down" too. I can't carry a tune nor have I ever played an instrunment BUT I LOVE music of ALL KINDS! My artistic talent is that of drawing stick figures and bubble letters, but I consider myself creative when it comes to words! I have never played any sports of any kind, but I LOVE WATCHING SPORTS!!!!!!!! I love daisies, sloppy joyes, going bare foot, and hearing old stories over and over and over again! I would take a good, long hug over a kiss...

2) I LONG TO BE CLOSER TO GOD! I read Caroline's Blog among many others (sorry to call you out but it is in a good way)who truly amaze and inspire me. I love how God's Word just spills out into the posts that you write, how faith driven you are, and how you radiate faith! Each day I am taking little steps to work on my relationship with Him and I am happy to say that each day I feel a little different. I hope to one day be an inspiration to others as you and so many I have met blogging have been to me.

3) MY FRIENDS ABSOLUTELY ROCK!!!! I know that many of you feel the same way about your friends, but can I just say that having the friends we do makes our life that much easier. The best part...Web & I have a lot of the same friends and that can be rare in relationships. Our "little gang" shares in all of our joys, triumphs, sorrows, tribulations, and challenges. I LOVE YOU ALL!

4)I LOVE BEING A WIFE & MOTHER!!!!! My little familia means so much to me and have changed my forever. Web & I are blessed to have most of our family here and that means a lot to me with Vance. At anytime we can call on a grandparent, aunt, cousin, sibling, parent, etc. to celebrate any and everything!

5)I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT TONIGHT...LADY VOLS VS STANFORD IN THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! Do I have orange on today? YOU BET!
