Silly Girls & More Good News

So, I think I will start with the MORE good news first...

Yesterday afternoon I called my parents just to see how everything was going. I talked to my dad about all sorts of odds & ends, and then I finally asked him how he was feeling. You know what he said, "Really Good! The best I have felt in six months!" Those words, the sound of my dad's voice, and a feeling of true hope made me smile from ear to ear. There is still some tweeking to be done to his medication, but overall my sweet daddy is on his way to being happy once again.

I also wanted to show you all a picture of the backpack/diaper bag I got Vance at the Women's Show. I absolutely love it! There were so many to choose from, but I thought this one was most appropriate since we are moving to a farm!


The zipper on the pocket even has a cow keychain! It is the little things that "tickle me pink!"

So, my galz are absolutely hilarious! Last night we had a Junior League Meeting and there were probably close to 60 women there. It was getting close to the end of the meeting, and La, Meag, and I were just cracking it up. Why is it that when you NEED to be quiet the funniest things happen? It just goes to show you that no matter a woman's age, you ALWAYS have a silly, little girl deep inside.
