Prayer Warriors Needed

A couple of our nearest & dearest friends are going through a very hard time...

Chris & Rob Hooper are a part of our little cirlce of friends...our second family. Last night their father, Harris Hooper, was taken to the ER after he commented on his arm feeling numb. While at the hospital, Harris flatlined for 30 seconds but was revitalized. He was then taken to Centennial Hospital to be monitored and have some tests run. This is what we know...

* Harris had bleeding on his brain that has resulted in a brain tumor

* This tumor means that there is cancer somewhere else in his body. They did a MRI, but the results were inconclusive as to where the cancer is.

* Harris is going home tomorrow and can do his normal, daily routine for two weeks.

* He will have surgery in two weeks to remove as much of the tumor as possible as well as to locate where the remaining cancer is.

Harris Hooper is a very special man! He was my principal in middle school and he had the kindest, most gentle spirit about him. He was stern but in a easy going way. His son Chris is my husband's best friend as well as the man who introduced us. Rob is also a dear friend of ours. Their entire family is experiencing an array of emotions right now as this was very sudden and unexpected.
