How excited am I?!?! The sun is shining, it is about 65 degrees outside, and flip flop weather is getting closer and closer...PRAISE THE LORD!
We had another fabulous weekend!
Friday the weather started getting bad, so we opted for an evening in of quality time. Sometimes you need a night of pj wearing, toddler playing, loafing...you know?!
Saturday morning we woke up to a blanket of white, snow! I think all in all we got about three inches or so, but it was still beautiful and loads of fun to play in. You have to remember that the South does not get a lot of snow, so every little bit puts a smile on my face. Even though it has "dusted" a few times, this was Vance's FIRST OFFICIAL SNOW!!! Like any good parents we had a huge breakfast, bundled up, and then headed outside to play, play, play.
Needless to say Vance had a GREAT time! He even did his first snow angel with a little help from Web and I! Oh the adventures I see for us in the future.
Saturday night we headed to some friend's house for dinner and to play DVD Scene It Squabble! We played best out of three and of course the girls WON! If you have never played it before, I HIGHLY reccommend it...too much fun. Vance even fell asleep (he was tuckered out from playing in the snow) and slept through all of our craziness. He is such a sweet boy!
Sunday morning we went to church and the entire Mass was so uplifting. Being Catholic, we are in the midst of Lent with Holy Week just around the corner. This is by far one of my favorite times of year. Web headed to the golf course and shot 71...he is so good I tell you! After golf it was time for Vance's first Easter Egg Hunt. Some good friends of ours who own the golf course where Web played and are Vance's Godparents opened their home up for tons of friends and family to enjoy delicious food and an Easter Egg Hunt.
Vance putting the Easter Eggs in his basket. While he was more interested in eating the grass and what not, he did get 19 eggs total. Above the curve I tell you!
Here we are after the hunt...excuse my appearance...it was a crazy morning. I posted it mainly to show you 1) Vance's fish face 2) Vance's adorable, plaid pants, and 3) Vance's Dragon Easter Basket...isn't he sweet!
We were pooped last night...all of us! The weekend ended however on a very, wonderful note...LADY VOLS WON THE SEC TOURNAMENT! I LOVE MARCH MADNESS!
On a funnier note, Vance has this new trick he does. He LOVES crawling under furniture and he just cracks himself up!
Don't you just love their little imaginations!!!!
