I want to first thank everyone who left a comment and said a prayer for Vance's appointment...we greatly appreciate it!
Friday morning Web & I got up at 4:45, got Vance up at 5:45, and hit the road by 6:00! We changed his diaper but left him in his pajamas in hopes that he might sleep on the way to Vanderbuilt...wrong. He was ready to go! We left early just in case we got caught in the hedious traffic, but we did not, and arrived by 6:30 or so.
Here is a picture of Vance when we arrived at the hospital! You can definitely tell he just woke up from his sleepy eyes and morning hair =)!
The visit went well! Dr. Hamid, who was so kind and extremely intelligent, felt as though Web & I were right...he is just unique. We do have to take Vance to get an extensive eye exam to completely rule Albinism out, but we are extremely hopeful and positive. I must say I only have one complaint: the hospital / examining rooms were about the size of a closet. With four adults and one very active thirteen month old in there, it got a bit crowded. So, what do you let your son do when there is no playing room...
Why, climb under chairs of course!
After three long hours of waiting, talking, discussing, and waiting some more, we were finally on our way home.
This pretty much sums up how we all felt!
The rest of the weekend was spent taking care of Vance! He developed a runny nose, deep cough, and slight fever on Thursday. He was so pitiful over the weekend, but he is slowly on the road to recovery. I have never heard Vance cry so much as I did this weekend, so I know he was feeling bad. Please pray that he feels better soon and our happy boy is back in action.
One little ray of sunshine in my day: I won the shell bracelet from Cena's Blog Drawing! I love it and can't wait to wear it this Spring.

Hi Megan-
Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog! I am so excited to meet new people. I see that you are from Tennessee. I grew up there from ages 6-12! I lived in Nashville and Columbia. I wanted to tell you that I am already praying for your little boy! Keep up posted on the latest with him.
I am looking forward to Dancing With The Stars! I'm glad there's something fun to watch on Monday nights now! :)
I'm so glad you got a good report for Vance! I have been thinking about you guys every day! I know you will rest easier once the eye appointment is out of the way! We'll keep praying. Thanks for the DWTS reminder. I almost forgot, and it's my favorite show so I would have been so disappointed if I had missed it!
Thanks for the update! I'm glad it was good news. I think Vance is just perfect!!! His hair is awesome!
