God Our Father

I have to admit that it was so nice having off five days in a row! I would not use the word relaxing (that is hard to do with a 6 month old and almost 3 year old), but it was definitely FUN!

On Tuesday Web and I headed to the boys' school for their Thanksgiving lunch! When we got there the kids sang a little song and then it was time to eat. I do believe Vance had three helpings of corn. He LOVES corn! I promise he knows how to use his spoon the proper way...LOL!

I had to take a pic of Jack in his little Indian headress. Is he not so stinkin' cute?! I think he knew he was missing out on some majorly good food b/c he watched Web take every bite of his food on Thanksgiving. Soon enough Jack...soon enough :).
Thanksgiving morning we got up and watched a little of my favorite Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. One day I hope to take the boys there so we, or I, can see it firsthand :). Then it was off to my MIL where we had tons of good food! We got a great family picture, but I am saving it for our Christmas Cards.
The best part of the morning was when Vance said the blessing all by himself. I teared up just hearing his little voice bless the God that has blessed us!
After a good long nap, we got loaded up again and went to my parent's house. I love being at my parent's house. My mom always has a way of making it feel so warm and full of love. Since we are Italian we have pasta (stuffed shells) for Thanksgiving. Mom typically makes a few traditional dishes, but everyone looks forward to that secret sauce.
This is a picture of me and my WONDERFULLY, AMAZING grandpa! This is who Jack is named after :). I promise you there is no sweeter man on this planet and of course I am his favorite...tee hee.
The rest of the week and weekend was spent putting up some Christmas decor, doing a little shopping, playing, and spending qt together. My parents even took Vance to go see A Christmas Carol and he did great :)!

In other news...
Jack has found his feet! He can't quite get him to his mouth yet but he loves trying to grab them. Typically he just rolls over to his side b/c he is such a rolly polly :)!

We decided to let Vance decorate the little tree we had up in the apartment last year. It has little play food, red ball ornaments, a chain he colored and made, and one of his hats for the topper. He love his tree!!!

We also put up this Little People Advent Calendar for Vance to do throughout December. How cute is this? This morning we put Mary in her spot. Of course he noticed all of the animals and is most forward to putting those out...LOL!
It was a great time off and a good preparation for this month. As always, we have lots going on! I am starting the month off right. Tonight we have our Book Club Christmas Party and it is going to be FUN!!!!

Sounds like you guys had a great week. Brad was off all week too so we had some nice family time together. I love Vance's tree, its so cute. I am letting Austin help make things for our tree this year-that way I dont have to stress out every time he goes near the tree.
