Fearless & Family Festivities

Friday was Web's last day of work/school for 2009...YAY! Some people out there fill like teachers should not get the breaks they do, but trust me...they deserve it!!!

Friday night we hung around the house and just played with the boys. It was so nice! Web and I really miss the days of sleeping in so lazy nights are always welcome in our home :).

Saturday morning was a quiet one. We stayed in our pjs most of the morning, which I love, and rested up before the afternoon's festivities. Jack was having a big ole' time in his jumper and then all of a sudden he got quiet. We looked over and this is what we saw...

...he was out cold! ADORABLE AND HILARIOUS!!!

That afternoon we loaded up and headed to my Granny and Grandpa Z's house for Christmas. These are my mother's parents and Vance calls them Granny Z Pa:)! All of my aunts, uncles, and cousins were there. We are a big family so it was loud, chaotic, and loads of fun. We even played BINGO after we opened all of our gifts. It never ceases to amaze me how competitive people are...even at BINGO.

My Grandpa Z and Jack! This is who he is named after :). My grandfather's name is John but most of his friends and family call him Jack or Jackie. Not too sure about the Jackie...LOL!

Vance posing with some of the gifts he and Jack got! He was such a good boy and said THANK YOU to everyone. It made me so proud!

Our little family after all of the "craziness" was over! My grandparents had their original patio turned into a sunroom and it works PERFECTLY for the holidays.
Sunday morning I was not feeling too well. I just think I am really tired and my body is yelling at me to take better care of myself. Vance had a birthday party to go to that afternoon, so I tried my best to rest so we could go.
At one point I was rocking Jack and I heard Web laughing hysterically at Vance. When I walked in the living room, I saw this...
...he is such a mess! I am not going to admit that he climbed in there and proceeded to get stuck. OH MY!
We left for the birthday party that was literally an hour and fifteen minutes away from us. The things you do for friends and your children. It was at a really cool place in Franklin called The Jump Zone. Quite honestly it was perfect for children of any age...especially energy filled boys!
Vance did so good and he was FEARLESS! I am proud to say he gets that from me. My parents called me a "monkey" for a long time b/c I loved climbing on things. Even yesterday I joined in on the fun and had a ball with Vance.
This is him climbing the BIG WALL to go down the BIG SLIDE!

LOOK AT HIM GO! The little shadow behind him is me waiting for my turn. Vance was so sweet and gave me a big applause and high five when I got to the bottom :).

After an hour and a half of jumping, cake, and no nap, Vance CRASHED last night at 8:00 and did not make a peep until 6:35! He also mentioned that he would love to have his birthday there too. Thankfully we already had that in mind and we have one here in our town. Then again, we would drive to Timbuktu for our little guys :)!
Tonight is operation wrap gifts and watch either The Holiday or Family Stone!

Fun! I took Eli & Sophie to Jump Zone in our town last week, and Eli, like Vance, was fearless! Too much fun! Merry Christmas!!
