Like Father Like Son :)

Can you believe this weather? I do believe Meag said it perfectly when she said, "IT MAKES ME GIDDY!" I was so inspired by the sunshine this weekend I painted my nails pink :)!

This weekend was all about Vance and it was glorious!!! It was also a weekend where I truly saw how much Vance watches his daddy, how much Web makes Vance smile, and how much they love each other :)!

Friday afternoon I left work a little early so that Web, Vance, and I could visit the Discovery Center. We have paid for a year long membership and I plan to use it!!! We played inside for a little while and then we hit the playground and nature walk. On the nature walk Vance saw Web spit (not a finer moment but my husband is a sophisticated, country boy), and within seconds he too was spitting. NICE ;)! Once we left DC we headed to DQ for some ice cream. How I adore thee!!!

Saturday morning Web played golf while Vance and I painted, painted, and painted some more. What can I say? Our boy loves to finger and body paint...LOL! As soon as Web got home we loaded up and headed to the church playground. I think these pictures describe the joy my boys feel when they are together :).

Mastering the monkey bars :)!

Enjoying the thrill of the slide :)!

It is hard to tell but Vance is chasing Web around the baseball field's bases :)! For a second I closed my eyes and thought of future coaching days. It makes me giddy!!!

After the park we headed over to Red Robin for a yummy dinner :)!

Sunday morning was church and that homily from Father Mark was wonderful!!! One of the things he said that really touched me was that as Christians it is important that WE REMEMBER, WE CELEBRATE, WE BELIEVE!!!

After church we spent some quiet time at home and of course there was more painting ;)! When it came time for Vance to take his nap, this is what I found...

Vance brought his blanket into the living room and asked Web to lay with him. Seriously? Could he be any sweeter or I any more blessed!!!

Once Vance woke up he headed down to Nanny's house for a little while. She wanted to keep him while Web and I ran to Target. We took some time to register for Baby Jack :)! It was different this time b/c we have a lot of stuff already BUT we still had a GREAT time!!! When we picked up Vance, Margaret told us that they had been outside the entire time. Boys will be boys :)!

We felt that it was only appropriate Vance do a little country driving on our way home...one minute away :)!

All this to say or show that it melts my heart to have these boys in my life :)! I fall more in love with Web everyday and I am so proud to be Vance's mommy!!! GOD IS SO GOOD!!!
