It is cold, raining, and extremely YUCKY outside, BUT it is Friday so all is well ;). It has been a while since I posted so I thought I would catch you up on what is going on in our lives ;)!
It is very sweet that I get to take some time each year to get away with my galz! Well, my husband does the same. Twice a year, Web and seven of his best buds head to Pickwick, TN for 4 solid days of golf playing, yummy eating, laughing, and goodness only knows what else. He left on Wednesday night and will return on Sunday afternoon. Vance and I miss him like crazy, but they have kept this tradition going for thirteen years. WOW! I am just so happy he has such amazing friends ;)!
Each night when Web, Vance, and I sit down for supper we always say a blessing. Here lately, Vance has really began to understand and grasp what we do when we pray. He holds our hands, bows his head, and even says "AMEN!" when we are finished. How I pray he has a heart for loving the Lord! Since Web is away this weekend, we have some fun activites planned to pass the time and make some great memories ;).
Today I am seven weeks pregnant and so far so good ;)! I have already been able to tell some differences in my body. I will spare you the details, but if you have been pregnant, you know...lol. I am still pretty tired at night and I always have a sprite by my side, but I am feeling GOOD! Little one is the size of a blueberry but he/she's little brain is developing like crazy. I just love that ;)!
Other than that I also wanted to let you know that painting on our house SHOULD start next Thursday ;). Please pray that all goes well and we are able to celebrate Christmas there ;)!

Oh how I want you to be in your house in time for Christmas... praying for that one for sure!
I am so glad you are feeling well with your little blueberry! I bet you're going to be beat by Sunday playing single-mom over the weekend with Web gone, but I know how much he appreciates it and how much they all enjoy it!!! :-) You're a great wife and a wonderful mommy!!!

I bet you are having a lot of fun this weekend with Vance by yourself! Yay for sheetrock being in! That is great that you are almost ready for paint. It won't be long now! I can't wait to meet you on Sunday!

This is all such great news. I'm glad you are feel good. That is such a blessing. EG says, "Aaaaamen," too. I just love that! You are such a good Mommy! Love you bunches and your little blueberry, too.
I was just checking your blog and I happened to glance over to your profile on the right side of the page and I didn't realize until now that while you were marrying your man, I was giving birth to Noah! How funny is that? A special day for both of us!
I think it's so important for men to have friends. It's easier for women, I think, but so great when men have true friendship. Glad you survived your weekend without him. John has been gone since Wednesday and I'm missing him so bad. He gets home tomorrow. YAY!
