Gratitude Journal

On Monday night the Junior League had their annual Pumpkin Potluck Dinner ;). Each lady is responsible for making something from one of the Junior League Cookbooks. This usually means there are miles of delicious food ;)! This meeting was very special because the New Member Committee (Meag, La, and I served on it) were activating the New Members. At the end of the meeting, our very sweet and stylish committee leader gave each of us a GRATITUDE JOURNAL! She gave us a description of what a gj is exactly...

Basically you are to take time each night and write down 5 things you are grateful for ;). Well, I was reading Michelle's blog today and she mentioned the gj, so I thought I would share what I am grateful for TODAY!

My amazing husband and cool as can be little boy ;)!

My two very fun, loving, intelligent, creative, understanding, and beautiful best friends ;)!

Having a job that I enjoy during this sad economic time ;)!

Insulation in our house is DONE!!!!

The beautiful fall weather! It should be just lovely on Saturday for the Bell Buckle Craft Fair ;)!

What are you grateful for?

ISn't it great to have so much to be thankful for! I often forget to truly count my blessings. I am hoping that renewing my GJ will help me quit wishing for more and live in the now. STop by my blog for a surprise! :) Have a good day!
