As most of you know, last year La, Meag, and I went to Savannah for our Galz Trip 2007 ;). We decided right then and there that each year we would take a galz trip. This year we decided to plan our trip around these two words...NO RESPONSIBILITIES!!! After doing some research, we made reservations at a little piece of heaven called Lakeview at Fontana Spa in Bryson City, NC! It is only about four hours from Murfreesboro, so it was the perfect location.
While we were there we enjoyed delicious food, amazing massages and facials, played board games, talked, worked on little projects, slept, and laughed until are sides were sore ;). Here are just a few pics from the weekend...

This is where we stayed! The entire place had a very Tuscan feel, which I LOVE!
When we arrived to our cabin, we each had a giftbox sitting on the bed ;). It had fuzzy slippers, a candle, and a book on RELAXATION ;)!
The galz and I got each other gifts this year ;). I got each of us the slippers in the above pic, Meag got each of us a journal to complete about our trip. and La got us personalized cups and pens that say "Girlz Trip 2008!" 
This is the little deck area where we would enjoy wine, snacks, and board games each evening ;). I taught La & Meag how to play Boggle ;)!
This little fella is LeRoy! We named him and made him our house mascot on Saturday ;). Somehow he made it back to TN with us...something about wanting to go on all Galz Trips. What kind of people would we be if we said no?!
One last pic before leaving the spa. We all had on shirts that we got from the Spa that say RELAX! After this weekend, I will try harder to do that!!!
A quick thank you to Meag and La for this weekend ;)! I don't even have to say it but you know where my heart is! I love you both and can't wait until Tybee Island 2009!
I am also so thankful for my amazing husband who did a stellar job with Vance this weekend! I missed them both like crazy and could not wait to hug them all night long ;)!

I'm going to say the same thing to you I said to Lauren, JEALOUS!!!! That weekend looked fabulous! I need a spa weekend in the worst way!
I'm so excited to hear good revies of this place b/c my sisters and I have been thinking of going there!

Mmmmm! It was truly an amazing trip! There is no one I would rather spend relaxing time with than you and La! I love you, I love our tradition(s), and I can't wait for girlz trip 2009!!!!

I'm so glad you three had such an wonderful time. It looks and sounds amazing. I wish I could have been there. I LOVE Boggle. It is like the best game ever! That is next on our list next time we all get together. OK? And, Leroy....HILARIOUS!
And, I just have to say the three of y'all are so darn cute!
