As you all know, Web was out of town until Sunday night. That meant that Vance and I had some great quality time to take advantage of ;)!!
Friday night Meag and I headed to Bunko at Ashley's house. Her and her husband have only lived there for five months, but it is BEAUTIFUL!!! I did not win a thing, but I had a great time. The little bit and I ate our weight in the seasoned popcorn Ashley made...yummy!
Saturday morning was spent playing and reading every book Vance owns. HE LOVES BOOKS! Once Vance woke up from his nap, my parents and I took him to the First Annual Middle Tennessee State Fair. It was more like a carnival, but we all still had fun ;).

I know you can't tell from this picture, but Vance, Nana Jo, and I rode the Ferris Wheel. Please do not think I am a horrible mother as we both had a firm grip on him. He LOVED being up high ;).
Sunday morning we met Meag, La, Dawson, and my newest friend Amanda at Mimi's Cafe for brunch ;). I was so proud of Vance for sitting in his chair like a big boy! We had the best time stuffing our faces and chatting!!!

The rest of Sunday was spent resting as much as we could. I came down with a cold on Saturday night...GRR! Being pregnant, w/out a hubby, and having a cold = exhaustion. We survived though and we were so happy when Web walked through door at 6:15!!!
Yesterday was also magical! Web and I went to the doctor's office to see little bit and hear the heartbeat. Little bit's heartbeat was around 162 beats per minute and we are already SO IN LOVE!!! Little bit is measuring at 7 weeks, 5 days, but we will still be 8 weeks on Friday ;)!

Wow. I know you missed Web, but that sounds like a great weekend you and Vance had! Oh, that pic of you and Web holding "little bit" made my heart leap. I'm am so excited about this baby! Oh, and that pic of V and D is so stinkin' cute! Hug yourself for me!

How funny that Vance enjoyed being up high. It scare ME to death.
Oh, you know, you could make pancakes like that at home...my kids love it when I make letter shaped pancakes, or any design for that matter. :)
