It is FRIDAY and I am so excited for the weekend ;)! It has been a strange day weather wise in the Boro. We have had moments of extreme down pouring rain, but as I look out my window right now, the sun is shining. Strange but beautiful!!!
The last couple of days have been slow but they have had some delightful moments sprinkled throughout! Wednesday evening Web worked at our house cleaning up ;). It is our responsibility to make sure the house/lot is clean so that the framers will have a perfect place to get it dirty again...LOL! I am not complaining though b/c my husband is a perfectionist and I know he is enjoying being part of the process =)!
Since he was at the farm, I picked Vance up from his second day at Tot's Landing. I am not sure if I told everyone, but we are in the process of transitioning Vance from Miss Charlene to Tot's Landing. I am happy to report that he has gone two days so far and he has done really well. He has even taken really good naps on his mat...WOW...SUCH A BIG BOY! We have decided that we will keep him here until he is two, and then we might consider St. Rose PreSchool. Perhaps you could start praying now?
Yesterday was really nice! I left work at 3:00 to meet Meag, La, and Dawson at Top Nails to get our toes done and for some major girl time. We had cherry cokes, pralines from Savannah, a little pampering, and some much needed us time!
Lauren & Dawson enjoying their pampering! He is such a good sport about all the girly time he spends with us!
After toes the galz came over to mi casa to enjoy some delicious Sir Pizza with Web, Vance, and I ;)! Have I mentioned before that I LOVE Sir Pizza ;)!! After we finished dinner the troops loaded up and headed out to the farm. It was a beautiful night to show our friends our future home!
Web, Vance, and I in our living room! It is just a bunch of wood now, but it is going to be GLORIOUS! We have already begun picking out paint and other exciting selections!
Meag, La, David, and Dawson ~ Thank you so much for driving out to the farm and walking through our home. We look forward to many years of good times, loud laughs, and precious moments ;)! We love you all so much!
In other exciting news, I always like to update everyone on what Vance is up to...
* He has discovered his shadow! At first he was a bit scared but now he waves to it...LOL!
* He loves to take my hand or Web's hand and lead us around the apartment! Sometimes it is just down the hall, sometimes it is just a few steps, but it is ALWAYS precious!!!
* I have caught him two or three times with his finger in his nose ;)! I know this may not be something my blogging friends want to hear, but I am trying my best to document all of his many idioscencracies. What is a parent to do?
* He enjoys TRYING to put his shoes on! They are little crocs that velcro and although they are usually on the wrong feet, he is always so proud. I am too!
* When he takes a sip of a drink, he always follows with AAAHHH!
* He is cutting two more teeth and at times we are all feeling is pain!
*HE IS 100% BOY AND 100% THE JOY OF OUR LIVES!!!

Hi Megan...thanks so much for linking me to your blog! I love it and I'm bookmarking you!
Your little guy is adorable, and when I read about him discovering his shadow, I smiled. I loved seeing the delight on my kids' faces when would discover simple things!
Enjoy your weekend!
Meredith
Awwww, I always LOVE to hear what Vance is up to. I giggled when I read he follows up his drinks with "Ahhhh". Ella Grace does that, too! I'm glad you and the galz got some pampering and together time. I'm sipping on a cherry coke right now as I type. :) That was so sweet of the gang to come to the farm to see your new house. I know they are so happy and excited for you. It won't be long and they will be helping you move in! I'm SO glad Vance is adjusting well to his new day care. That is just awesome! I'm sure everyone there has already fallen head over heels in love with him. What a sweet boy! Hope you guys have a great weekend!
Ooh, I'm in desperate need of a pedicure! I might have to go get one tomorrow! I love that you get to have girl time. It's the best. I'm glad your house is coming along. How exciting. And, of course, the prince is still tres adorable!!
Tot's Landing is the cutest name for a school!! :) I'm glad sweet Vance is adjusting well. It sure does make your day better just knowing he is happy!
Getting a pedicure with the girls sounds so wonderful. You are all such a sweet group of friends!
I know you are getting so excited every time you go out to see your house. It seems to be coming along really well! It won't be long till you're moving in!
Fun weekend! I can't wait to see pics of the farm completed! Vance is going to love playing outside in the wide open space!!!
Vance sounds so much like my nephew! He has found his nose and he too says AHHHHHH after he gets a drink! They are so fun to watch, especially when their personality starts peeking out.
What a fun girl time! I'm so in need of a pedicure. My nephew and niece even commented on my feet!!!
Hudson is 3 and still plays with his shadow!! It is hilarious!
We loved walking around your new house! There is something about the smell of fresh lumber that is so exciting to me! We can't wait to spend lots of time there with you. Vance, as always, is absolutely precious. He is welcome to wear my stilettos anytime! :)
