I wonder if everyone is experiencing as much rain as we have in the past several days?! The rain has definitely helped make things grow and lush, but I miss my dear friend Mr. Sun!!! May is a month that is full of activities, mainly outdoors, and it would be so nice to enjoy those with warm sunshine on my face :)!
I am happy to say that little man and I survived the weekend while Web was gone. I did not get a lot of sleep (at all), but where I missed out on sleep, I made up for it with quality time with Vance. We spent a lot of time with my family and had a blast painting, visiting the Discovery Center, dancing, and cuddling. We definitely missed Web and we were SO HAPPY when he came home on Sunday night.
For those of you who don't know, Web takes a golfing trip to Pickwick every year with seven of his closest friends. This trip began far before I was in the picture and it has grown over the years. Before there were wives in the picture the "boys" had chips or pizza almost every night. Now they are making homemade meals and eating like kings. It makes me laugh but at the same time I am so happy he has this time with friends.
This year they played a total of 99 holes of golf and I am happy to say my hubby's team won the trophy. Yes, they have a trophy. I would like to think it was the 67 he shot on Sunday along with Hooper's great round on Saturday that won it for them :)!!!
While I am on a roll and "bragging" on my INCREDIBLE husband, I must share what he did for me yesterday.
Yesterday I was getting a much needed pre-natal massage done! While I was in a total state of relaxation my husband was doing this...
...with our sweet, little guy in tow. I am not sure how he managed but as always he pulled it off with flying colors.
I usually do the shopping on Monday afternoons and by the time I get home I am exhausted. Wal-Mart does that to a pregnant gal...LOL. It means so much when he does the little things that help me in big ways.
And just because I think it is so darn cute, I wanted to share Vance's love for flashlights. He LOVES it when we turn all the lights off in the house and he can go "exploring!" He will even shine it on Web or I, say freeze, and wait for us to make a silly face. Could he be any more amazing?!
So this post was all over the place but I just wanted to let you know what me and my boys have been up to.

Aw, what a sweet hubby you have!! And Happy Cinco De Mayo to you too! Did you eat some yummy Mexican food? I know I did!
I'm so glad Chris and Web's team won!!!! :-) It's especially great since they both thought they were going to play horribly, lol.
You do so many fun things with Vance - I think it's so sweet.

That is so funny b/c Noah is OBSESSED with falshlights. He has like, 10 of them, and STILL steals Gentry's. Aren't they sweet with those funny things they do?

You do have the sweetest husband ever (mine is pretty sweet too). :) It is the little things they do that make all the difference. So glad you got some much deserved relaxation with your massage! We have gotten SO much rain here, too. I need sun ASAP (it's trying to come out). I love your beautiful new picture!!!
