Ramblings of El Prego

I am so happy it is Friday! The sun is shining here, the office is quiet, and I just have a feeling that today is going to be a good day :)! There have been a few special things going on this week that I wanted to share with you all...

On Monday Web and I took Vance to his first dentist appointment :)! Murfreesboro has a lot of great pediatric dentist, but Vance's pediatrician reccommended this place. Vance was immediately at ease when he saw that the office was decorated with fish, fish, and more fish. Thankfully we did not have to wait too long and before we knew it Vance was getting his teeth all checked out. HE DID GREAT! The nurse commented on how well he did during the exam and the doctor said that we were doing a great job brushing. We were so proud of our little guy!!!

On Wednesday Web and I headed to Smyrna to make sure all was well with Baby Jack and I :). I am 36 weeks today so that means we will start going every week for a check-up. Where has the time gone? The visit went really well :)! I gained four pounds in two weeks (up to 19 now) and Jack's heartbeat was 151 bpm. Don't tell anyone but I am blaming the extra poundage and high heartbeat on the Mexican I had for lunch...lol! It is hard to believe that we are in the home stretch know and before we know it our little Jack will be here. I would be lying if I said I can't wait to spend a whole summer with my three favorite boys!!!

Last but not least...I have one more week of work before I go on Maternity Leave :)! I worked until the day before Vance arrived, but this time my doctor and family encouraged me to take a little time to rest (ha) before Jack's arrival. The plan is to take twelve weeks and return sometime in August. However, Web and I are fervently praying that God will help us make the right decision...for me to return or stay at home. No final decisions have been made yet, but there has been a great deal of discussion and prayer.

I am looking forward to some time off before Jack arrives but it is also hard to leave "my work" in someone else's hands. The past two months I have spent working hard to make sure all the usual ducks are in a row. It will definitely help me to relax a little more while I am gone :)!

I hope you all have a GREAT weekend :)! We are planning on going to a baseball game...YAY!
