"MommyDaddy"

This is the name that has been affectionately given to Web and I by Vance :)! When it is just one of us around we are "mommy" or "daddy", but put us in the same room and we become the two-headed, loving parent "MommyDaddy!"

Yesterday Vance turned 27 months and we could not be more proud of or in love with our little man. Here is what he is doing these days...

*LOVES Diego and calls him "Ego"
*obsessed with boo boos, band aids, and getting a kiss for every minor bump, bruise, or owie (he gets that from Web)
*enjoys apple cinnamon cereal bars in the morning and calls them "barts"
*loves playing with flashlights, exploring, and seeing what treasures (dust) he can find
*enjoys watching Web and I cook. His little mind is just soaking up so much right now!!!
*seems to have my memory and remembers things really well (PTL!!!)
*can get out of his bed and knows his way around the house. I LOVE hearing his little feet running down the halls.
*likes to dip his grilled cheese in "syrbup"
*will give love to everyone but saves the best hugs for Web and I
*sleeps with his hands behind his head like his daddy
*has become obsessed with bugs and looking for them on the ground
*knows his animals, colors, numbers, and we are working on letters and shapes :)!!!
*last but not least...showing interest in sports BUT especially GOLF :)!

This weekend is going to be a very fun-filled special one! I have a lot of good moments planned with friends and family. Mostly I am looking forward to celebrating Mother's Day. It is still surreal to me that I am a "mommy" to one of the sweetest kids around :)!

I love how curious he is! And I can just see him and Web asleep on the couch together with their hands behind their heads! Kodak moment!

You are a WONDERFUL MOMMY!
