Home Sweet Hom

It feels so good to be back home!!!

Would you not miss this precious smile? Yes, he has a diaper on his head. He converted it into a helmet while riding around in one of our empty boxes. I LOVE KIDS!

We made great time on Friday and I was able to unpack before Web came home with Vance. He had the biggest smile on his face when he saw me and I promise he grew at least a foot ;)! Most of the evening I just loved on him and Web!!!

Saturday morning we drove out to the house to look at everything. Can I just say that I am in love with our home. It still seems like a bit of a dream to me, but I am so excited for the memories yet to come. So many family and friends have put in countless hours to help us fulfill this dream and we are forever grateful. The entire time we were there, Vance was running from one end of the house to the other. I am sure that was God's way of showing us a small glimpse of life on the farm with two boys. We can't wait!!!

The rest of Saturday we visited with my parents, started packing, played a lot, and had dinner with some friends. It was our annual Fantasy Football party where we celebrate the season. The food was delicious...nothing beats a cheeseburger and fries.

Sunday morning Web left really early to head out to the house for the "final cleaning!" Again, our family and friends came through with flying colors. My dad, Chris, and Meagan all drove out to our little piece of heaven to lend Web a helping hand. THANK YOU AGAIN!!! I felt bad that I was not out there helping but I loved every moment of my quiet day with Vance. He is getting so big and talking so well. I must brag for a moment. He knows the colors red, blue, white, and yellow AND on Saturday morning he said, "How you doing Mommy?" Oh I just love this age!!!

We are very excited for all the excitement and blessings in our lives right now and we are so thankful for what God has given us. During this entire time I have thought a lot about Kelly & Harper AND Jenna & Brayden. God has truly done amazing things in their lives over the last year and I am praying for great things in the year to come!!!

Yes! I can see how you would miss that face. Precious! I love that he asked you how you were doing. If I run an errand, EG tells me when I get home, "Glad you're home." She has also started telling me she loves me spontaneously. It is THE best!

I am so happy you are getting close to being in your dream house. I can't wait to see more pictures! I just know it will be beautiful!

Did you see where Harper opened her eyes?! What a blessing that little baby has been to so many aleady!
