...with my family and this time of year ;)!
On Friday I got to leave work a little early and head to Vance's daycare for his class Christmas Party. They kept it simple by having a special snack, a visit from Santa, and of course a gift for mommy and daddy. It was so sweet and I am proudly displaying the gift on our entertainment center. Tonight I will take a pic to include in tomorrow's post ;).
Saturday was one of Web's very best friend's son's birthday ;)! I hope that did not confuse you...lol! The party was for sweet Presley and they had it at their house in Franklin. They ended up renting one of the jumpy, blow-up castles and it was a BIG hit ;).
Our little man having the best time! Everytime he fell down he started cracking up ;).
Here are the two dads and their boys ;)! Web and Derrick met 16 years ago on their first day of college. They were roomies, played on the golf team together, pledged ATO together, and have stayed friends ever since.
Saturday night we were all exhausted we fell asleep watching Home Alone at 8:00...LOL!
Sunday afternoon we headed out to my grandmother's house to celebrate Christmas with my mom's family :). We ate homemade ravioli, italian bread, and had an assortment of delicious cookies. After we watched the Titans play a WONDERFUL game it was time for the opening of the presents. Once I convinced Vance to give me his cookie he was all about it :).
Opening his present and eating his cookie at the same time. What can I say...he is a multi-tasker ;)!
He absolutely LOVED this dinosaur that walks and roars!!! He is such a boy ;)!
My grandparents have a little train around their tree and Vance fell in love with that too. He would squat down beside my dad and just watch it go round and round. Again, what a wonderful reminder of the simple joys in life ;).
We have a busy week ahead of us but I am praying that God will guide my heart to truly enjoy the reason for the season ;)!

Um,yeah. I think you know which picture is my fave in this post. Kind of like giving a crack addict some rocks and angel dust and saying "Here! You can have both!"
