I am so excited that it is Friday and that Christmas is less than a week away ;).
We had our work Christmas Party yesterday and it was so much fun! This year we kept it simple by having it at the office, enjoying a wonderful meal, and playing a few games.I am known as the "game princess" at work so of course I came up with a few new ones ;). I love the people I work with and it was so nice for all 20 of us to be able to break bread together.
The fun continued when Web, Vance, and I ate at Red Robin last night. Vance LOVES the taste of lemon (he gets that from me), and he was making the funniest faces when he would get a taste. He is just too much!!! After dinner we went to Stride Rite to get little man some new shoes ;). I had never been there before and even though they were a little pricey, I have heard such great things about them. I let Web pick them out since he knows fashion pretty well, and I must say they are precious. Vance's favorite part was having his feet measured ;).
I am happy to save that the Christmas Placemats are done! We made a set for my parents and one for Web's mom. This probably should of only taken us a day or two, but it took a couple of weeks. We worked on them a little at a time between everything else. I hope they like them ;).
Little man got a hair cut this week and I just LOVE this picture ;)! Can you tell it was write before bed?!
Seeing this pic made me think of one of my favorite holiday traditions! Christmas morning at the Hunter house was so much fun. I typically woke up bright and early and then proceeded to wake up my brothers and parents. Once we were all gathered by the tree we would start opening gifts. We always took our dear, sweet time opening them one at a time. About half way through we would take a break and enjoy yummy cinnamon rolls. Once our tummies were full we were back at it! I have so many memories of how certain presents made certain people feel. It just makes my heart smile to think about the Christmas memories yet to be made ;)!
Have a great and safe weekend...especially if you are shopping!

What a wonderful post! I love Christmas memories and I think it must be so fun as a mother to begin new and old traditions with your children... I look forward to that one day! I think the placemats turned out GREAT!!!
I was just catching up on posts and it looks like you have been having so much Christmas fun! And how exciting that you are starting to feel the baby move. That is such a special and awesome thing!
Vance is cute! I love his hair! What grandparent would not just love those placemats!!! How cute.
I love the placemats you made. I wanted to do something like this but Austin was still not into the craft thing this year. Hopefully next year.
Those placemats are adorable! What a great gift.
