Turkey Day Thoughts

It is Tuesday afternoon and I just returned from a Thanksgiving Lunch at Vance's Day Care ;). I am so thankful that Vance goes to such a wonderful place where parents can be involved and I am equally blessed to work for an organization that allows me to enjoy those moments. Vance made Web and I the cutest card with his hand print...melt my heart and seeing him in the middle of the day fueled my soul for the remainder of my workday.

Right now it is about 45 degrees outside, the sun is shining, and I am dreaming about all things Thanksgiving ;)! I thought I would leave you with some of my FAVORITE Thanksgiving traditions.

Reading great books to Vance ;)! I found the one above, Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving, a couple of weeks ago at Barnes and Nobles. It is so cute and the pictures are just perfect for Vance to point things out.

Watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! I LOVE IT! Some day Web and I will be traveling with the kiddos to NYC to watch this marvelous parade.

Nothing says Thanksgiving like FOOTBALL! This year the Titans will be taking on the Lions ;). I hope they win and move to 11 - 1!!!

A delicious Thanksgiving Meal ;)! I am so blessed to get to enjoy my MIL's Southern Traditions in the morning and my Mother's Italian Traditions in the evening...YUMO!

While all of these mean the world to me, I am most excited to spend some qt with family ;)! They just own my heart, my love, my devotion and I am so thankful they are a part of my life!

p.s. To all of my Tn Friends and all of my blogging friends...I am so incredibly thankful for you!

I ditto your post! The best part of the day, other than the food, is the quality quiet time with my husband. The laid back aspect of the day.

Everyone is having Thanksgiving lunch feast with their children this week. Today, I just ate a deep fried burrito for lunch!! Ooops!!

Moo! I absolutely LOVE the Macy's parade! It has been a tradition for me since I was a little girl, and I look forward to it every year! I'll be thinking about you watching it while I'm watching it. Ha! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your sweet, sweet family. Miss you!
