We put in a lot of hours at work last week, so I was off on Friday...YAY :)!Before I share our weekend with you, I had to include this picture of our little Buddha...Jack :)! He went to the doctor last week for his regular check-up and he was 15 lbs 13 oz and 26 3/8 inches long. HUNK A HUNK A BURNIN LOVE:)! I am just in love with his belly rolls!!!
That night we had some friends over for dinner and a little cupcake decorating. Abi is just two weeks older than Vance and they are great buds. They have the best time together no matter what they are doing. You can tell they were really enjoying their cupcakes in that picture :)!
THIS IS MY FAVORITE! Vance was leaning over and kissing Abi's forehead. She has the sweetest smile on her face. Our little guy is extremely affectionate (like me) so I am not the least surprised he gave her a smooch. This is definitely going to be held on to for future use...LOL!
While we were out and about on Friday we did some SERIOUS fall/winter clothes shopping for the boys. Did I mention I LOVE The Children's Place. We got these adorable coveralls for Vance. Hopefully it will snow so he can enjoy a day outside playing. Please no worries...he will have on something under them :)!
This weekend we also decided to introduce food to Jack. You might not be able to tell from the pic, but he did GREAT. There is no doubt we have an eater on our hands. He ate 2 entire tablespoons of food :)!
A couple of weeks ago my parents brought us two apple trees for the boys. They are so incredibly thoughtful and come up with the BEST, most meaningful gifts. We were finally able to plant them this weekend and Vance helped Web with every step. He even told Web several times, "Good job Daddy! You are such a big helper Daddy!"
It was so nice seeing him work alongside his dad and learn something new. He helped plant both trees and of course he loved playing in the BIG DIRT as he called it :)!

It was a very nice weekend full of good, productive moments! This week we are getting ready for Web's annual golf trip. I know he is excited b/c he worked all of his Fall Break. I certainly am blessed with the life I lead :)!

Web told me about the Apple trees when I was out at Margrets over the break and I thought that was the most creative and meaningful gift! So cool!
I love your Chunky Monkey and your Affectionate Little Man and I can't wait to see them (hopefully this weekend!!!!)
LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for my giant hug tonight... I needed one! :-)
I love how Jack is such a Weblet!
Vance is such a good helper and encourager...wonder where he gets that from?? :)
That is the best gift! You can take their pictures as they grow and the trees grow. I love that idea!
That first picture of Jack is ADORABLE...what sweet little boys you have!
