The Things Kids Say :)!!!

The Hutchings' Family had another GREAT weekend :)!

I got to leave work early on Friday and that night I enjoyed some qt with Web and Vance. We had a delicious meal and spent most of the night playing. On Friday I was also 24 WEEKS...WOW! I have been taking pictures every three weeks and since it has been a while since I have posted, I thought I would share one.

I am definitely at the point where I feel pregnant. Not in a bad way but it is harder to get comfortable when sleeping and I feel Jack move all of the time. My mother has affectionately nicknamed him "Jumping Jack Flash!" She is too funny ;)! This weekend I was able to work on Jack's baby book some and even got a few outfits. My favorite is a little onesie that says "Little Brother." HOW SWEET! Web even made the comment that he can't wait to have another little baby in the house ;).

Saturday we got our Security System installed and then I had a mid-day date with La & Meag :). We ate a DELICIOUS lunch at Newk's and then saw "He's Just Not That Into You." It was a really cute movie and just perfect for our galz day. It is amazing what just a few hours with my favorite galz can do for my soul. They are so much FUN!!!

Sunday morning we headed to church and Father Mark's homily was AMAZING! In case you did not know, Ash Wednesday is this Wednesday and so will start the season of Lent. This is one of the biggest Sacraments in the Catholic Faith and Father Mark's words prepared our hearts in such a wonderful way ;). Instead of giving anything up Web and I decided to do a few extra things to strengthen our faith and relationship ;)!

While Vance napped and Web did a few outside chores I actually took advantage of some quiet time and read. This month our book club is reading Rumor of War. It is a true story about the Vietnam War and so far it is really interesting. I love that I am reading something I typically would not :)! Thanks Gina!!!

After Vance woke up we loaded in the car and headed to The Discovery Center. I promise you that it is the best place to take kids and just let them play :)! Here are a few pics from the afternoon...

Playing at the little car station ;). He was here for a good 45 minutes!

Learning how to work the dozer ;)! After a while he just sat in the rocks and played!!!

The rest of the evening we ran a few errands, had dinner, and watched The Oscars :)! And then it happenend...

Each night before bed Vance loves to get about 20 books out to read. He sits between Web and I on the couch, reads out loud, and we listen/watch a little TV intently :). When he is through reading we clean the books up and then we have a little relaxation time. While we put the books away we sing the "Clean-Up" song. Here lately Vance has been singing along with us, but his "clean-up" sounds like "d-cup!" A truer statement was never spoken considering my recent state...LOL!!!

LOVE the d-cup comment - too funny! I, too, am so excited about the new book being something different that I would not have picked up on my own!! It was SO great seeing you Saturday even though I wasn't 100%... seeing my girlz sure did make me feel better, if only for a little while! :-)

Ok, the d-cup completely cracked me up! I'm so glad you posted a picture. Jack is growing! You look so cute.

I want to see that movie, too. My girls and I are have a girls night out Friday and seeing Confessions of a Shopoholic. Should be another good girls' movie. Wish I could have been there with you when you and La and Meag had you galz day! FUN!
