BIRTHDAY WEEKEND!!!

Well, it is official...our sweet, wild, little man is now TWO!

His birthday weekend was absolutely wonderful and we could not have asked for better weather. You will not believe this but it was between 66 and 72 all weekend :)!

Saturday morning Web and I sang to little man which was followed by a few more singing phone calls :). It was GREAT! After some morning playtime, a few visitors, and a nap we were ready for a busy afternoon. Of course I made an appointment for Vance to have his 2 year pics taken. OMGoodness...they turned our GREAT! Here are just a couple of my personal favorites:


I had to get a picture of him in his little "hippie" shirt :)! Needless to say my mom loved this one!


I love this one too b/c he is SO HAPPY in this pic ;)! It fits his personality perfectly!!!

After pictures we had a delicious meal at Mimi's Cafe and then headed home for a cupcake ;)!

Sunday was the actual Birthday Party Day and we were so excited!!! We decided to have the party at The Discovery Center and it went SO INCREDIBLY WELL :)! From 1 - 2 we had a little room set aside where Vance and our guests could visit, eat cupcakes, and open gifts. I must say that there were moments of pure joy written all over Vance's face. I even got a little teary-eyed when everyone was singing "Happy Birthday!" It just meant a lot that to me that our little guy was surrounded by lots of LOVE :)! After the opening was done, the kiddos had free reign of the Discovery Center. All I can say is that everyone had a GREAT time playing and exploring. Web, Vance, and I did not leave until 4:00 :)!

Opening some presents! Speaking of presents, Web and I have decided to get Vance a REAL fish. He loves Nemo or "Memo" as he calls him, so we are going to go look for a clown fish :)!


My AHHHH-MAZING parents and Vance! They are so much fun and they are so good to us and him :)!


This is Vance, me, Betsey, and her little girl Abi :)! They are just a couple of weeks apart and Vance ADORES her!!!


One more trip down the slide before we headed home :)!

All in all it is a day that I will cherish for years to come! Our little boy turned two and we celebrated BIG ;)!

p.s. Jack enjoyed the cupcake I ate and he too played all afternoon in my belly:)!
