Garland

Thank Goodness It's Friday!!!

Today I am just pooped! We had an Appreciation Dinner last night for some of Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity's sponsors, donors, volunteers, construction crews, etc. Terri Shultz (a co-worker) and myself planned and put on the entire event. It was a lot of hardwork but the evening went well. The dinner ended close to 8:00 and then I was off to a friend's house to watch the Packers vs Cowboys game. For those of you who don't know me or my family, my husband Web is a HUGE Packers fan. I left there around 9:30 to take our son home to get him in bed, but just as we pulled in the driveway Vance got his second wind:)! Like father like son!!!! After a new diaper, some lavender lotion, a cool blanket, and the "lovely" sound of me singing Vance was asleep. By this time it was 10:15 and I still needed to get everything ready for today. Shew...

Morning came very quickly! I thought I might fall asleep in the shower, but then little man awoke. Seeing his smiling face and hearing his sweet voice in the morning ALWAYS gives me a boost of energy. All of sudden the business of yesterday was gone and I was ready for TODAY!

Terri and I headed over to Patterson Park this morning to decorate our Habitat Tree:)! Patterson Park is having a wonderful event next week called "Winter Wonderland." Different agencies, businesses, and organizations from Murfreesboro have decorated themed trees. You can visit the display any day next week from 5:00 - 8:00 at Patterson Park! Please go and look at Habitat's beautiful tree! It took me forever to do the GARLAND!

Til next time...
