Labor Day Weekend Fun

It is Tuesday, but for some reason I feel like it is Monday...LOL! I had a wonderfully, long weekend with family and friends.

It all started on Friday when La, Meag, and I got together for a long overdue GALZ NIGHT! We had pizza, junk food snackies, and best of all wonderful conversation. The night was so much fun and got me really excited for the upcoming year :)!

Okay, so this one is not from the weekend BUT I had to share our son's mischevious ways. He had climbed into our shower, opened my body wash, and began "painting" our shower door. He cracks me up!!!!

Last Friday Jack turned 3 month's old! He is such a cutie patootie and so much happier these days! Right now he is:

-wearing size 2 diapers

-eating anywhere from 4 to 6 ounces at each feeding

-holding his head up really well

-cooing, laughing, and smiling...a lot

-mesmorized with his big brother and our dog

-loves when I sing him songs and makes silly songs

-enjoys being in his swing

-has slept through the night twice

-likes to be held and in the middle of everything

-holds onto toys really well

-is looking at EVERYTHING

-making us fall in love with him more and more each day

On Saturday we headed to our friend's house for our Fantasy Football Draft! We have 12 teams this year and wouldn't you know it we are in a tough division. Web came up with our clever name "Down Set Hutch" and we are ready to dominate. There was tons of food but this little fella was the sweetest of the bunch. His shirt says, "Daddy's #1 Draft Pick!"

I am trying really hard to get a lot of pics of the boys together! How cute are they in their matching truck pjs?! Vance is holding a sign for the World Habitat Day on October 5th. I just love these little guys or homies as Web calls them.

Yesterday we spent the morning at home before heading to my parent's house for a cookout. I was changing Jack's diaper/clothes and Vance wanted to join in on the fun. So, we diapered and dressed memo, bear, lion, and funky monkey. He was so proud!!!

After nap time we got all ready and headed to my parents for a little cookout! We played sand box, horse shoes, rode 4-wheelers, painted, ate, and dodged the rain. Vance played horse shoes with the men folk while Jack hung out with the ladies :)! He put the shoes on himself to get four ringers so Web gave him a big high five!!!

This week is another busy one but I am going to try to sit back and enjoy it :)!
