Yesterday was EARTH DAY and the weather here could not have been more beautiful :)! I feel like I often take Mother Earth for granted instead of truly taking care of our beautiful planet. So much beauty surrounds me on a daily basis and it is time for me to enjoy it.
Earth Day started out wonderfully! A group of students from one of the local schools came out to do some landscaping for one of our families. I thought it was such a thoughtful gesture and wonderful lesson for the kids!
Once I left work, I headed over to Meag's house for some more Earth Day Fun :)! She had the gang (Web, Vance, Chris, Lauren, David, Dawson, Donnie, and I) over for a WONDERFUL dinner!!! I know I have said this before, but Meag is a phenomenal cook and always makes the best meals. 
Meag, La, and I :)! I promise we did not all plan to wear black...lol!
I LOVE THIS PICTURE! Vance found this caterpillar on one of Meag's trees and became very intrigued. He petted it and even let it crawl up his arm. How I love seeing Mother Nature through my son's eyes.
Uncle Chris brought some bubbles for the kiddos to play with and they were a huge hit. Dawson would just watch them floating all around and even popped a couple. Vance was a man on a mission. He would run around saying, "Catch You! Catch You!"
It was a wonderful way to spend Earth Day :)!!!

How FUN! I bet Meag is a wonderful cook. She always posts the most scrumptious recipes. I love that pic with Vance and the caterpillar. I love his look of concentration.
I had SO MUCH FUN! I am so glad you three...er... four it you count the little peanut... were able to make it! It was a WONDERFUL day! (Although I had no idea it was Earth day - how sad is that from a Geography teacher! lol)
I told Meagan she needs to start a cooking blog! I love new recipes.
That picture of Vance with the bubble is so pretty! That is framable!! :)
