Homes, Glamour, and Showers of Love

WHAT A WEEKEND :)!!!

Friday afternoon we had a Home Dedication for one of the Habitat Partner Families. The weather was absolutely perfect and the ceremony was very touching.


Is this not precious? This is the Pastor from the ladie's church doing the invocation. His precious daughter is praying beside him :)!!!

Saturday morning my parent's picked up Vance for an extra special play date! Did I mention that the weather was great on Saturday and he LOVES being outside. While they were busy playing in the creek, swinging, and what not, Web and I had a very special day planned.

First we met Lauren and Meagan to head to Nashville. We had an appointment to get pictures taken by the EXTREMELY TALENTED Krista Lee. The first part of the session was devoted to get some prenatal shots of Web and I. She did a lot of neat poses with us and I know they will turn out beautifully :). The rest of the session was for us galz to get some pics taken. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! We did serious, silly, casual, classic, and of course some straight.from.the.cover.of.Vogue shots. I can't wait to see those!!!

After spending some time in front of the camera, we headed home, and my sweet husband took me to dinner for my birthday. We decided to go to Crackerbarrell and we discovered that they sell their delicious pancake mix. SHUT UP!!! We were beyond excited!!! Then it was off to pick up little man and head home. I love home :)!

Sunday was equally special :)! My two very best friends threw me a wonderful shower to celebrate Jack. La hosted the shower at her beautiful home, the galz outdid themselves on every detail, and it felt so good to be surrounded by wonderful family and friends.

With the extremely talented Kim Wheeler and Rachel Wheat :)!!! Rachel made chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter filling...OH MY! I also received a gc from Kim for a painting just for Jack. It was a good day!!!

There are lots of other pictures and they all remind me how extremely blessed I really am :)!!!

After a great weekend, today I am celebrating my 27th Birthday!!! The sun is starting to shine so it must be a good sign that the next year will be a great one :)!
