Spring Is Here!

Tomorrow is the first day of Spring and to say I am excited is an understatement!!! I am starting off this season with a Baby Shower for my dear friend Betsey and decorating easter bunny cupcakes with the boys :).

I enjoy all of the seasons BUT Spring and Fall are my absolute favorites. I have this theory that when the flowers start to bloom and the skies are blue, people are generally in a better mood...nicer even. My mind starts thinking about all of the fun we can have with the kiddos; crafts, outside activities, just being on the farm and enjoying nature. Life is good!

I know it has been a while since I have posted...so sorry. Like many of you know, life happens and sometimes priorities get readjusted. So, what have we been up to?

We SPRUNG forward and most of us adjusted well! How I would LOVE to sleep like Vance. He is like his daddy and could sleep through anything. I am very thankful that we have at least one heavy sleeper. It is still too early to tell with Jack BUT right now he is like me...I can hear a noise at the other end of the house...LOL.

If you can't tell from this picture, Vance ADORES Jack. We have only had a couple "jealous" moments BUT overall they are like two peas in a pod. Vance loves to encourage "Jackie" and wants so badly for him to be able to play and wrestle. It will be here before we know it!

Jack has mastered so many new things lately; sitting up, feeding himself puffs and cheerios, saying ma-ma, da-da, broder, and bye, and clapping. He is such a mama's boy!!! His laugh is deep and his smile is flirtacious as they come. I am looking forward to showing him the world!

We have also been to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese! This is Vance and his best friend from school :). Vance's smile gets so much bigger when he is around. He is also doing really good with potty training and it feels good to be in this spot. Our little guy is such a BIG BOY...it is heart breaking and exciting all rolled into one :).

So when you get up tomorrow and see the sun shining, remember it is the season of new life :)!
